I served as a sniper and sniper team leader in the Army’s 1st Ranger Battalion, deployed to Afghanistan twice, and then spent years teaching military and police snipers. After the Army I went to law school, and I’ve worked where firearms and the law meet ever since: as an attorney, an industry executive, an author, and a founder. I was also a college professor, teaching Constitutional Law at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
I’ve testified before both the Senate and House Judiciary Committees on how federal firearms rules actually work. Whether I’m on a stage, on camera, or on the page, my job is the same: explain it clearly and get it right.
